Legacy is about more than what we leave behind. It is also about the values we pass on and the conversations we have with the people we care about along the way.

Join Dr. Meghaan Lurtz, PhD, for a practical conversation about passing on generational values around money within your own family. We’ll explore how to start these conversations, what may be appropriate at different ages and stages, and ways to approach financial topics that can sometimes feel uncomfortable or difficult to bring up.

The goal is for you to leave with tangible ideas you can use in your own family, whether you’re talking with children or grandchildren about money, having conversations with adult children, or navigating financial discussions with your own parents.

Because these conversations often involve more than one generation, we especially encourage you to invite the people you care about to attend with you. Children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, and other family members are welcome, and they do not need to be Briaud clients to attend.

This educational webinar is part of our client-exclusive Learning Series created in honor of Briaud Financial Advisors’ 40th anniversary.

What We Will Explore Together

  • How to pass along your family’s values around money and financial decisions

  • Approaching financial conversations with parents and older family members
  • Ways to begin conversations about money that may feel uncomfortable or difficult
